4Pi Rebranding
New Logo / New Font / New Brand Guidelines

After more than a decade using the same logo and brand colours, 4Pi had explored several ideas for a new visual identity over the years, but none had quite found the right balance or gained enough momentum across the studio.

I took a leading role in developing a new direction, exploring different approaches until I arrived at a concept that felt bold, contemporary and, importantly, resonated with the wider team. At 4Pi, creative decisions are often made collaboratively, so finding an identity that everyone could get behind was an important part of the process.

The new logo combines the Field Gothic type family with a subtle reference to the degree symbol. The graphic system also reflects the way 4Pi's work has expanded beyond the circular format of the dome and into square and rectangular immersive environments, giving the identity a visual connection to both the company's heritage and its evolving practice.

Alongside the logo, I proposed simplifying the colour palette around electric yellow and charcoal as the primary brand colours, while gradually moving the previous turquoise into a more secondary role. The aim was to create a sharper, more distinctive identity that felt better aligned with 4Pi's work today.

The resulting rebrand gave us a flexible visual language that could work across CULTVR, immersive productions, digital content, print and the studio's wider communications.
