THE RIFT

THE RIFT is an immersive film set in Zimbabwe where movement and imagery explore the deep connection between people, nature and the urgent challenges of climate change. 
 

Directed by the award-winning studio 4Pi Productions, this fulldome film blends contemporary dance and 360º cinema with an evocative score to confront issues such as access to water, fast fashion and plastic pollution. The Rift highlights the fragility of our planet and the need for collective action.
 

This project is part of the XR Labs programme, a collaboration between 4Pi Productions, Matamba Film Labs and Afrikera Arts Trust. It has been supported by the British Council International Collaboration programme.
